Who is Slava Prokhorov?
Hi! I am Vyacheslav Prokhorov, a multimedia specialist in the field of photo and video production. This means that I work as a videographer, photographer, editor and colorist, implementing projects for brands, common people and organizations.
I am an ordinary person who once found his craft and now makes it with love. That is why I am always open to cooperation and interesting projects!

How I work:
Regardless of the project, this scheme is always relevant. There may be minor changes depending on the type of shoots for example:
- Portrait photo session
- Video shooting for a brand
- Video editing of already captured footage
But the basic logic remains.
Pre-production ➡
We discuss the idea, create references, write a script, a storyboard, agree on a budget and make an estimate
Production ➡
The shoots themselves on the appointed day or days
Post-production
Editing of the footage, making corrections and final delivery of the project with a warm wish to see you again

❓ Q&A 💬
Possible questions and answers to them. If you still have any questions, text me, preferably via Telegram (or WhatsApp). Remember, I am always open to dialogue!
What cities do you work in?
I mostly work in Krasnodar, but I can go to shoot within the region or across Russia. In case of field projects, transportation and accommodation are paid separately.
How long does a project take to finish?
The deadlines depend on the complexity and the pre-prepared terms of reference. I approach each project individually, so the final delivery date is agreed upon at the discussion stage.
For example, portrait photography can take 4-5 days to complete, and shooting and editing a promo video or a pack of Reels can take up to a week or two.
Do you work alone or in a team?
I usually work alone, but I have a good friend who is also a colleague who can act as an assistant. And if the project requires it, then I can work in a team without any problems.
What type of gear do you use for your shoots?
On my favorite camera, which already knows my hands better than I do myself. If additional equipment is needed, it doesn’t matter, if necessary, I can rent it from a pre—agreed budget. This allows you to select the optimal tools for a specific task. The main thing is that the result should be such that you look and say, “Yes, this is it”.
Is it possible to order only a part of the work, for example, a video editing from already filmed material?
Of course you can. After all, I work not only as a cameraman, but I can also act as an video editor.
How is the payment made: in advance or after the work is completed?
We usually start with an advance payment — this confirms the booking of the date and gives us the opportunity to prepare for shoots (rental of equipment, locations, etc.). The final payment takes place after shoots. This approach is convenient and transparent for both sides 🤝
If I need ready—made material ASAP, can I speed up the deadlines?
Yes, you can. But it is important to keep in mind that speed always requires additional resources. If the project is urgent, we arrange new deadlines and conditions so that the quality does not suffer. I am not one of those who will “put it together on my knee” as long as it is faster. The result should still please both you and me.
What kind of green ribbon do you use on your website? Scotch tape? Electrical tape?
This is not electrical tape or duct tape, but a gaffer’s tape — a must-have tool for professional shoots. They are used to attach lights, cables and props, because it is durable, but it can be easily removed without traces. For me, this is a symbol of the film industry and the atmosphere of real production, so I made it part of the website design. So it fastens everything on my website as well 😉
